In cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and other sponsors, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA) held a launch ceremony at 9.30am on August 5 at the Le Thanh Apartment Building in Binh Tan district for a campaign to help people in the city experiencing hardships.

Report No. 121-TB/VPTU issued on July 27, 2021 by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced that HUBA had been assigned to carry out urgent missions with “dual goals”, one of which is to protect people’s health, take care of the poor, and leave no one behind, while the other is to collect gifts, including essential foods and staples, for the poor and those in lockdown.

Responding to a call from HUBA, the Phuc Khang Corporation has presented 10,000 gifts worth VND3 billion ($130,000), out of a total of 37,000 essential gifts, to people suffering hardships from the month-long social distancing campaign. This is just one of the activities from a VND20 billion ($870,000) relief fund that Phuc Khang has made available to accompany Ho Chi Minh City in its fight against Covid-19.

With a philosophy of “Sustainable Development” starting from “Responsible Development”, Phuc Khang’s Board of Directors has acknowledged that “health is wealth”. A pioneer in green building development, the corporation not only fulfils its responsibilities to staff and customers but also undertakes corporate social responsibility efforts.

Campaigns “To share and care” in the fight against the pandemic once again affirm the “Heart of Gold” of the Board of Directors and the spirit of responsibility and solidarity to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the government and people to combat the coronavirus.
