ProPak Asia, the premier international trade exhibition for processing and packaging in Asia, is set to open a new chapter as it moves to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, just north of Bangkok, with an expanded scale, enhanced infrastructure, and stronger global participation.
This year, ProPak Asia 2026 has increased its show floor by 20 per cent, to 65,000 sq m to accommodate larger machinery demonstrations.
With expanded exhibition space, enhanced “Live Working Lines,” and cross-industry integration, ProPak Asia 2026 is designed to deliver real-time demonstrations of complete production ecosystems, from raw material processing to final packaging and logistics solutions. This immersive environment allows buyers and investors to experience technologies in operation and evaluate return-on-investment (RoI) potential directly on-site.
The exhibition will bring together industry leaders, technology innovators, manufacturers, and decision-makers across food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, personal care, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and consumers goods sectors under a powerful platform.
“In today’s environment, uncertainty is pushing industry to upgrade faster,” said Mr. Sanchai Noobunnam, Country General Manager - Thailand, at Informa Markets. “ProPak Asia 2026 will help companies access the technologies, partners, and insights they need to improve efficiency, strengthen quality and compliance, and build more sustainable operations, from production and processing to packaging, warehousing, and logistics.”
He added that moving ProPak Asia 2026 to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani also reflects the exhibition’s strategic direction to scale up the event experience. “The larger venue allows more space for live technology demonstrations, expanded international pavilions, and stronger regional participation, creating more opportunities for knowledge exchange and business connections across ASEAN markets, including Vietnam,” he said.
The 2026 edition will spotlight next-generation technologies including AI-powered automation, robotics, smart factory systems, Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled advanced production processing equipment, cold chain innovations, and sustainable packaging materials and design. Circular economy solutions, recyclable and reusable packaging formats, lightweight materials, and digital product identity technologies are expected to be key themes reflecting global industry transformation.
Over 4,500 exhibiting brands from 45 countries and territories will showcase processing and packaging innovation across the total value chain: processing, filling, packaging, coding & marking, labeling, inspection, end-of-life, warehousing, cold chains, and logistics. There are also 15 international pavilions from 14 countries and regions, including Australia, Bavaria (Germany), China, France, Japan, Italy, Malaysia, North America, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan (China), Spain, and the UK.
On display are 18,000+ technology and machinery themes aligned with 2026-2027 investment priorities: AI and machine vision, robotics and automation, smart factory / IoT, data-driven operations, energy and water optimization, and circular / low-impact processing and packaging design.
Regional conferences, seminars, and hands-on activities featuring more than 100 expert speakers and industry leaders will also take place.
There are also nine focused industry zones: ProcessingTechAsia, DrinkTechAsia, PackagingTechAsia, PakagingSolutionsAsia, Lab&TestAsia, Coding Marking & LabellingAsia, Coldchain Logistics Warehousing & FactoryAsia, and DigitalizationAsia (New).
Voices from industry leaders
Organized by Informa Markets in Thailand, ProPak Asia has established itself as a trusted business platform for over three decades, driving innovation and trade across processing and packaging industries. The 2026 edition is expected to further elevate its position as Asia’s most influential event of its kind.
As global supply chains continue to evolve, manufacturers are accelerating investments in automation, digitalization, sustainability, and intelligent production systems. Rising production costs, regulatory pressures, and increasing demand for traceability and environmentally-responsible packaging are reshaping industrial strategies across ASEAN and beyond. ProPak Asia 2026 will serve as a strategic gateway where these challenges meet practical, commercially-viable solutions.
“ProPak Asia truly helps the industry enhance its capabilities and operational efficiency,” said Dr. Charoen Kaowsukwai, Chairman of the Food and Beverage Industry Club at the Federation of Thai Industries. “Whether a business is large, medium, or small, all can come to learn and apply new insights to improve their production processes. The event also fosters collaboration between entrepreneurs.”
“This is the most important exhibition every year,” according to Ms. Chananya Toomaneechinda, General Manager of the KW Global Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. “We see ProPak Asia as a platform where we can display our manufacturing and updated technology. It is also a chance for us to meet our customers.” The KW Global Technology is Thailand’s leading food processing machinery company, committed delivering modern machinery and services to the food processing industry. Established in 2004, the KW Global Technology has over 22 years of experience in the industry and have participated in ProPak Asia since coming into being.
The exhibition this year continues to strengthen its international reach, and is expected to welcome over 80,000 exhibitors and trade visitors from across ASEAN, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan (China), Vietnam, Bangladesh, Europe, and other key global markets. As Southeast Asia remains one of the fastest-growing manufacturing and consumption hubs, ProPak Asia plays a critical role in connecting global technology suppliers with regional industrial demand.
Beyond the exhibition floor, ProPak Asia will feature high-level conferences, technical seminars, industry forums, and networking sessions addressing market trends, regulatory updates, sustainability frameworks, and digital transformation strategies.
