Ca Mau to build 23,000 houses by 2025

The Mekong Delta’s Ca Mau province will build nearly 23,000 new houses by 2025, with the area per capita to reach 23 sq m in the 2021-2025 period. The total floor space will be more than 3 million sq m and total capital VND19 trillion ($841 million). The province is now calling for investment in 69 commercial housing projects.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has approved the addition of the Tran Yen Industrial Park in northern Yen Bai province to Vietnam’s development planning for industrial parks. The Ministry of Construction (MoC) will submit to the government an amendment to a Decree on the construction, management, and use of information systems on the housing and real estate market. The notable point of the amendment is that the information system will have information on project planning and eligible projects for sale, and create favorable conditions for people to access accurate information and avoid being drawn into a “virtual land fever”.
