Remittances to Ho Chi Minh City reached an estimated $2.73 billion in the third quarter of 2025, up 18% year-on-year, according to the State Bank of Vietnam’s Region 2 Branch.

Last year, total remittances to HCM City exceeded $9.54 billion, with Asia and America accounting for 82.2% of the total.
