The People’s Committee of Hanoi has required relevant departments and agencies to take measures to tackle obstacles to facilitate construction of social house projects.,l

They are instructed to simplify administrative procedures, and create conditions for businesses to invest in social housing development and eligible people to get access to social houses.

They are requested to accelerate site clearance for social house projects and choose investors with appropriate financial capacity and experience to implement social house projects.

The committee also ordered for measures to accelerate the implementation of the Government plan on developing at least 1 million social houses nationwide in the 2021-2030 period.
