Time for completing admin procedures cut for businesses

The Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority (Hepza) has said the time taken to complete three administrative procedures has been cut by 30 per cent, to support businesses in industrial parks and export processing zones. Hepza is also implementing a “Receiving and handling administrative procedures on the same day” program on seven administrative procedures, and will apply it to five others from next year.

Under Decree No. 69/2022/ND-CP dated September 23, 2022, amending and supplementing a number of regulations relating to maritime business activities and effective from October 30, a number of business activities will be subject to simplified administrative procedures, such as granting or re-issuing certificates of eligibility for seaport operations and certificates of conformity on the recruitment and supply of seafarers.

Ministry of Public Security proposes amendments to Law on Citizen Identification

The Ministry of Public Security has proposed amending the Law on Citizen Identification to serve the settlement of administrative procedures, provide online public services, develop socio-economics, and serve digital citizenship. There will also be additional regulations on the issuance of identity certificates to stateless people who have lived stably and long-term in Vietnam.
