The Aus4Reform Program, funded by the Australian Government, aims to support Vietnamese agencies in implementing their plans in economic restructuring and improvements.
At a meeting on October 17 with Australian Assistant Minister for Trade and Assistant Minister for Manufacturing Tim Ayres, who is in Vietnam to co-chair the OECD - Southeast Asia Summit 2022, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked Australia to further promote cooperation between the two countries, further open up the market for Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products, encourage Australian businesses to invest in Vietnam in the fields of renewable energy and high-tech agriculture, and develop strategic transport infrastructure.
Some 10 tons of Vietnamese longan were sent to Melbourne for the Vietnam Longan Week in Australia, jointly organized by the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia and the Hoa Australia Company.
