On the occasion of Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio visiting Vietnam, on March 16, Mr. Jacob Jusu Saffa, Minister and Chairman of the Office of the President of Sierra Leone, and FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh signed an MoU in which FPT will support the promotion of national digital transformation and digital workforce training in the African country. FPT posted revenue in October of VND3.262 trillion ($145.23 million), with net profit of VND538 billion ($23.95 million), up 32 per cent and 18 per cent year-on-year, respectively. Demand for software products and services is increasing in Vietnam, with the pandemic changing the way businesses operate. According to the Vietnam IT Landscape 2020 report, Base.vn is the most prominent name in the country’s Software as a Service (SaaS) market. After cooperating with Base.vn in May, FPT said its Saas model was perfect for the corporation to penetrate deeper into the market for technological solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
FPT has announced an investment in IT services provider Intertec International, taking another step forward in its expansion strategy and affirming its position in the US market while ensuring its ability to maintain double-digit growth in the long term.
