Starting from January 1, 2026, the basic wage for workers in Taiwan (China), including Vietnamese workers, as well as contributions to labor insurance and health insurance will be adjusted.

While the market share of Vietnamese labor has surged in established destinations like Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan (China), the government is actively promoting expansion into new and potential markets.

Japan led the recruitment with 4,318 workers, followed by Taiwan (China) with 4,265, and South Korea with 1,690.

Intra-bloc migrant labor is a key feature of the ASEAN labor market.

These markets include Australia, Canada, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, and Finland.
