The PM will lead the Steering Committee tasked with implementing the National Assembly's Resolution No 136, focusing on the development of Da Nang City
Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh has signed Decision No. 3102/QD-UBND establishing a Steering Committee for investment in new constructions, renovations, embellishments, and upgrades of parks and flower gardens in Hanoi in the 2021-2025 period. The city will upgrade 45 parks and flower gardens. Vietnam’s capital has hundreds of parks and flower gardens that are places of entertainment and relaxation for residents and visitors.
On August 23, at a meeting with the Steering Committee to develop the “Industrialization and modernization policy to 2030, with a vision to 2045” project, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that industrialization and modernization must take internal resources as the strategic, long-term, and decisive factor. It is necessary to promote public-private cooperation and mobilize all resources for industrialization and modernization.
The Steering Committee for important national and key projects and projects of the transportation industry held an online conference with 33 localities on August 10. Nine projects and 31 component projects are national key projects. According to the Ministry of Finance, total capital for these projects is about VND734 trillion ($31 billion) and is basically balanced.
On the afternoon of June 30, at the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission, a meeting of the Steering Committee for the formulation of a project summarizing ten years of implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW, dated December 9, 2011 from the Politburo was held on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese businesspeople in the period of rising industrialization, modernization, and international integration.
At a scientific seminar entitled “Linking the development of key economic regions in the new context” on July 1, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Member of the Politburo and Head of the Central Economic Committee, said the gathering was of great significance in helping the Steering Committee summarize Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW and complete the scheme and propose to the Politburo new guidelines for the socio-economic development of the north-central and central coastal regions and the Central Key Economic Zone.
