According to the latest draft strategy submitted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, out of the 1 million cars to be sold in Vietnam in 2030, around 350,000 units will be electric, hybrid, and solar-powered vehicles.
The EY Vietnam Consulting Joint Stock Company (EY Consulting Vietnam) and the CFO Club of Vietnam (CFO Vietnam) co-organized an event on October 14 on tax, laws, and customs, with the theme “Overcoming Challenges to Growth”. EY Consulting Vietnam said businesses are facing difficulties in implementing certain tax regulations, especially those related to foreign contractor taxes and corporate income taxes. Recognizing the problems, the government has recently issued a tax reform strategy to 2030.
The Minister of Information and Communications has issued an action plan to implement the National Cybersecurity and Safety Strategy, proactively responding to challenges from cyberspace to 2025 with a vision for 2030. Approved by the Prime Minister in mid-August, the strategy aims to make Vietnam a powerhouse in cyberinformation security.
