Thai Nguyen provincial authorities in northern Vietnam have officially approved the investment policy for the Tan Phu Urban Area (Area No. 1) project, located in Trung Thanh Ward.

The project will cover a total land area of approximately 230,087 sq.m. According to the approved plan, the developer will construct 751 commercial housing units on a 77,611-square-meter site.

In addition to commercial housing, the project will allocate 4,436 sq.m for resettlement purposes and more than 20,550 sq.m for social housing. Once completed, the urban area is expected to accommodate a population of approximately 4,040 residents.

The Tan Phu Urban Area is designed to be a modern residential zone with integrated technical and social infrastructure. By maximizing land-use efficiency and providing high-quality living conditions, the project is expected to not only meet the housing demands of local citizens but also serve as a catalyst for the province’s socio-economic growth.

The total estimated cost for the project is over VND2.3 trillion (over $88 million).

The project’s operational term is set for a maximum of 50 years, starting from the date the investor is granted land allocation or a land lease. Construction and implementation are scheduled to continue through the end of the fourth quarter of 2031.
