Workers in northern Thai Nguyen province will be connected with virtual job transaction floors in Vietnam’s 63 cities and provinces during a week of efforts linking labor supply and demand that kicked off on April 10.
Running to April 17, the program will connect local workers, young people, and students with vocational training centers, colleges, and businesses inside and outside of the province.
Around 100 units, businesses, vocational training establishments, and job service centers will take part.
An estimated 4,000 people seeking jobs and vocational training programs or study information on the labor market will also join the program.
On the sidelines of the week-long event, a jobs festival, a career consultancy program, and a conference connecting schools, students and businesses will be organized.
Thai Nguyen held over 100 job transaction sessions last year, attracting more than 33,000 people and helping tens of thousands find jobs.
