Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Mai Xuan Liem has issued a decision establishing the Lien Hoa industrial cluster in the north-central province’s Hau Loc district.

It will have a total area of 38 ha and investment of VND280 billion ($11.6 million).

The cluster will focus on the production of electronic equipment and components, phone components, mechanics, pharmaceutical products and medical materials, construction materials, the processing of agricultural and forestry products, and footwear.

The first phase of infrastructure construction is scheduled to begin in September 2025 and be completed by December 30, 2026. Investors can start leasing land for production before December 21, 2026.

Its second phase is expected to start in September 2027 and be completed by June 2028.
