Vietnam's total revenues from retail sales of consumer goods and services in January 2026 reached VND632.4 trillion ($24.15 billion), increasing 2.6% compared to the previous month and 9.3% year-on-year, according to the National Statistics Office (NSO).
Of which, total retail sales of consumer goods are estimated at VND487.4 trillion ($18.6 billion), up 9.3% over the same period last year.
Revenue from accommodation and food services in January stood at VND75.4 trillion ($2.88 billion), soaring 9.4% year-on-year.
Travel revenue recorded the highest growth with total revenue of VND7.5 trillion ($286 million), surging 14% year-on-year.
Other service revenue is estimated at VND62.1 trillion ($2.37 billion), up 8.9% year-on-year.
