Vietnam International Sourcing 2023 is scheduled for Ho Chi Minh City from September 13-15, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The event is aimed at helping domestic manufacturers and exporters reach global markets by connecting them with foreign distributors and importers.
Around 300 businesses are expected to attend, showcasing more than 5,000 export products in fields where Vietnam holds strengths, such as food, garments and textiles, footwear, sportswear, household appliances, furniture, and the support industry.
It is also expected to attract leading global distributors and retailers like Aeon, MegaMarket, Walmart, Carrefour, Costco, Decathlon, Coppel, Amazon, Boeing, and Google.
A series of activities, including conferences and trade exchange programs, will be held on the sidelines.
It is expected to attracted 8,000 visitors.
Its organization is part of the master plan to promote the participation of Vietnamese enterprises in global distribution networks by 2030, approved by the Prime Minister in 2022.
