Under Decision No. 2415/QD-TTg, signed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on October 31, a project to support women’s start-ups for the 2026–2035 period has been approved, with a goal for women-owned businesses to account for 30% of all enterprises in Vietnam by 2030.

Under the project,  about 75,000 women-owned enterprises, cooperatives, and business households will be supported to develop. Support policies will include access to preferential credit and start-up and innovation funds.

Additionally, around 25,000 women-owned business households will be helped to register and convert into enterprises, whicle 8,000 women-led start-ups and cooperatives will be assisted in restructuring and enhancing member capacity.

Among support measures, promoting entrepreneurial spirit among women, fostering sustainable, digital, and green business models, strengthening supporting ecosystems, and enhancing international cooperation to attract resources will be prioritized.

Beneficiaries will include all women aspiring to start a business, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds — such as single mothers, women with disabilities, ethnic minority women, retired athletes, former inmates, victims of domestic violence or human trafficking, and women returning from industrial zones or overseas work.
