At the Vietnam New Economy Forum (VNEF) 2025, held on October 2 afternoon, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of renewing the growth model, fostering new drivers of growth, and building a resilient, sustainable economy capable of withstanding global fluctuations.
Under Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW of its 11th plenum, that was held on April 10-12, the 13thParty Central Committee agreed on a policy to restructure provincial-level administrative units across the country, reducing the total from 63 to 34 units, comprising 28 provinces and 6 centrally-governed cities.
The result recorded in the first half of April brought the country’s total import - export turnover to US$237.97 billion as of April 15, up 16.5% year on year.
