A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha is attending the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which opened on November 5 in Shanghai, China, the Voice of Vietnam has reported.
Vietnam’s national pavilion, covering 256 sq m, is introducing the country’s economic achievements and potential as well as promoting investment, trade, and tourism through video clips, photos, and literature.
In addition to the national pavilion, 34 Vietnamese enterprises have booths displaying products from the agriculture and food processing sectors on a 400 sq m space.
Vietnam’s participation at CIIE not only helps promote the country’s image in economics, investment, and tourism but also contributes to its efforts to fulfil economic goals, such as the government’s commitment to international economic integration and increasing exports to China via official channels and in a sustainable fashion.
It also aims to further promote the image and brand of Vietnamese businesses to China and other countries worldwide, helping them seek potential markets and expand business.
With the theme “New Era, Shared Future”, the expo has attracted more than 150 countries and territories and international organizations on a total area of 300,000 sq m. Some 289 of the world’s top 500 enterprises are participating.
