Vietnam earned $45.37 billion from agro-forestry-fisheries exports in the first eight months of 2025, up 12% year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
In August alone, exports from the sector were valued at $5.71 billion.
Breakdowns show agricultural products contributed $24.42 billion (up 13.8%), forestry products $11.9 billion (up 6.6%), fisheries $7.03 billion (up 11.5%), and livestock products $410.7 million (up 24.5%).
Coffee, cashew nuts, and pepper remained key export earners, with coffee recording 1.2 million tons, worth $6.42 billion, rising 8.7% in volume and a striking 59.1% in value. Germany, Italy, and Spain were the top importers of Vietnamese coffee, accounting for 14.5%, 7.5%, and 7.4% of shipments, respectively.
Cashew nut exports reached $3.24 billion, up 16.4%, while pepper exports climbed to $1.12 billion, up 26.9% year-on-year.
