Under a new resolution of the Politburo, Vietnam targets 45-50 million international visitors and 160 million domestic tourists by 2030.

The central city's export turnover hit approximately $1.15 billion, representing a 16.8% year-on-year increase.

The three neighboring countries have adopted a Joint Action Plan on Tourism Cooperation for 2026-2028, under which they will promote joint tourism products, strengthen connectivity and facilitate travel and transport between the three destinations.

The expo, scheduled for August 27-29, is expected to bring together more than 260 international buyers and over 500 tourism companies and brands, with more than 21,000 business-to-business meetings scheduled.

The southern city expects to welcome 11.5 million visitors by 2030.
