According to Decision No. 1140/QD-BXD, dated July 1, 2026, Vietnam aims to have 36 airports by 2030, consisting of 19 international airports and 17 domestic airports.
In the first six months of the year, carriers transported 3.4 billion passengers, up 18.8% from the same period in 2025, while passenger traffic rose 12.2% to 170.7 billion passenger-kms.
