Mr. Sander Looijen has been named Marriott International’s Market Vice President for Vietnam, taking charge of a portfolio of 32 hotels and resorts as the company accelerates expansion in one of its fastest-growing markets globally.

A Trip.com Group leader emphasized that Vietnam remains a strategic market in the company’s global expansion plans.

Flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with plans to increase the frequency to daily flights starting in August 2026.

Vietnam Airlines will operate the Hanoi–Amsterdam route with a frequency of three round-trip flights per week.
