Cốc Cốc, the only “Make in Vietnam” browser and search engine, officially launched the product duo Cốc Cốc AI Chat and Cốc Cốc AI Search on May 29, marking a new era for the local provider after ten years securing its position in the Vietnamese market.

With advantages in localization and massive data sources, the two new AI products are expected to help Vietnamese users and businesses better harness the power of AI. The launch is further affirmation of the company’s commitment to its mission and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese tech enterprises in the race with global AI product developers.

The two products are the first in the company’s Artificial Intelligence ecosystem, Cốc Cốc AI Lab, signifying its unyielding effort to compete with global giants in delivering new technologies to users.

Cốc Cốc AI Chat is a Large Language Model (LLM) chatbot, developed based on the GPT 3.5 model and trained together with data from Cốc Cốc Search. As a result, the product is able to provide fast, updated, and accurate written answers. It best supports the Vietnamese language and is also capable of translating queries in English to answer in Vietnamese. Users can chat with Cốc Cốc AI Chat to find answers on a variety of topics, create content, and handle language-related tasks such as summarizing, translating texts, and more. By giving natural, approachable answers, Cốc Cốc AI Chat can better help users as a smart Vietnamese AI assistant.

Cốc Cốc AI Search is a feature that provides answers by using AI to summarize content from results related to users’ queries, allowing users to get faster, more accurate and secure results without having to visit multiple websites. Instead of having to spend time reading and selecting information from various sources from normal search engines, users need only type in the queries they are interested in, and Cốc Cốc AI Search will synthesize and summarize brief information from reputable sources in only about two seconds.

After ten years of construction and development in Vietnam, from 2013 to 2023, Cốc Cốc now has more than 29 million users and its search engine attracts more than 600 million queries each month.
