According to the 2022 Global Crypto Adoption Index published by blockchain data analytics company Chainalysis, Vietnam ranks first out of 146 countries and territories in terms of cryptocurrency adoption, followed by the Philippines, Ukraine, India, the US, Pakistan, Brazil, Thailand, Russia, and China. This is the second straight year Vietnam has led the index, which was first published in 2019.

At a ceremony on September 10 announcing the Top 10 Vietnam Information Technology Enterprises 2022, the MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation surpassed 92 other enterprises around the country to win awards in four categories: “Top 10 Enterprises Providing Digital Transformation Platforms”, “Top 10 Enterprises Providing Digital Government Solutions”, “Top 10 Enterprises Providing IT Services and Solutions”, and “Top Trillion VND Information Technology Enterprises”.

Taking place from April 18 to September 15, the “Finnovation 2022” contest received nearly 100 submissions and aimed to raise awareness about innovation and intellectual property in the field of fintech and digital transformation, the national innovation startup ecosystem, and international connections in fintech. Zinance was the winner, with the two runners-up being WeShare and Mediaverse.

Mr. Park JongHo, CEO of IT recruitment platform TopDev, has said that Vietnam has promising IT human resources in terms of quality and quantity as well as market potential. A wave of foreign investment has brought the opportunity for Vietnam’s IT labor market to expand and become more vibrant.

In the August rankings from Viettel’s Information Monitoring and Analysis System on the network environment (Reputa), Shopee continued to hold top position among e-commerce platforms on social networks. Vietnam’s e-commerce market is growing rapidly and is forecast to reach $39 billion by 2025.

With more than 5,000 robots serving 600 customers in 14 countries and territories around the world, akaBot is a pioneering Vietnamese enterprise bringing RPA and hyperautomation solutions to major markets. The platform was one of three representatives from Asia on a list of the world’s leading Hyperautomation solution providers, according to recent reports from Research and Markets and Zion Market Research.
