Design platform Canva has officially entered the Vietnamese market, introducing its Canva AI 2.0 ecosystem and plans to develop 500 Vietnamese-localised fonts for local users.

2020 was the first year the National Digital Transformation Program has been implemented, and the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) for the year was low overall and shows that the associated activities of ministries, branches, and cities and provinces were still in the initial stages. Mobile money services are expected to create a push to promote digital transformation and the digital economy but have not been able to be launched due to a number of technical issues and legal matters, Mr. Tran Duy Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Telecommunications at the Ministry of Information and Communications, told a seminar discussing solutions to develop mobile money in Vietnam.
