A delegation of aviation businesses from the Netherlands has visited northern Hai Phong city to seek cooperation and investment opportunities and provide technical assistance in the field of aviation and smart logistics services.
They were impressed by the city’s development and said they hope to learn about planning for a logistics service system and for Cat Bi International Airport.
Deputy Chairman of the Hai Phong City People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Tho said the city always welcomes foreign investors and partners, including those from the Netherlands.
It is committed to creating favorable conditions for the investors to operate effectively, he said.
Hai Phong currently has 15 projects from the Netherlands with total investment of nearly $300 million, primarily in shipbuilding, the production of maritime equipment and machinery, and trade.
