Frasers Property Vietnam empowering the next generation through education

Frasers Property Vietnam enhances digital education by donating computer labs, fostering IT access, and supporting sustainability efforts through impactful community initiatives in education, environment, and well-being.

Frasers Property Vietnam, a diversified investor, developer, and asset manager specializing in industrial, logistics, commercial, and residential properties, recently inaugurated a newly equipped computer lab at Phu My Secondary School, the largest public high school in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province.

As part of a community initiative, the company donated 49 desktop computers and desks worth VND700 million (approximately $28,000). In addition, employees volunteered to refurbish the lab, creating a more conducive environment for learning. This effort aims to enhance access to information technology and support digital literacy for the school’s 2,500 students.

"Frasers Property strives to do good for the community wherever we operate, and we are honored to support the development of Vietnam’s next generation," Mr. Edwin Tan, Deputy CEO of Frasers Property Vietnam and Managing Director of Industrial & Logistics for Southeast Asia, shared. "We hope that with the right digital resources and training, students at Phu My Secondary School will awaken their passion for learning and develop the skills needed to succeed in the digital economy."

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Triet, Deputy Manager of the Education and Training Department of Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province, expressed:
"This initiative exemplifies how businesses can make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and contribute to overall social development. It not only reflects the company's strong sense of responsibility but also serves as a great motivation for the younger generation, helping to create a brighter future."

Expressing her gratitude for the contribution, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Thuy, Principal of Phu My Secondary School, noted that in today's digital age, equipping students with computers is essential. "These devices will enable our students to develop relevant digital skills, cultivate independent thinking and creativity, and ultimately enhance the quality of education at our school."
