GeneStory and Beehive Asia signed a strategic cooperation agreement on May 25 regarding the commercial exploitation of gene decoding services in Vietnam.
Beehive Asia will become a support unit for commercial exploitation and communication, in order to contribute to bringing the application of GeneStory’s gene decoding technology closer to individual and business consumers wishing to learn about and experience science-based preventive healthcare.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, General Director and Co-founder of GeneStory, said it is ambitious about bringing modern technologies in preventive medicine to a large number of Vietnamese people, with the most advanced machinery and equipment and qualified laboratories of international standard, licensed by the Ministry of Health (MoH) to operate in Vietnam with reasonable costs and high security.
“Joining hands with Beehive Asia, we can realize our desire to popularize gene sequencing services and communicate more widely to the public on the role of preventive medicine, thereby contributing to changing the healthcare habits of Vietnamese people, improving quality of life, and reducing the burden of medical expenses,” he added.
With a large-scale source of Vietnamese genetic data and superior technology, GeneStory will provide comprehensive information on the risk of a number of common diseases and inherited diseases such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and heart disease, as well as provide predictive indicators of physical and mental health, assessing nutritional needs, etc., in order to build an optimal healthcare roadmap.
