The special taskforce of the Hanoi People’s Committee held a meeting with representatives from nine businesses on December 27 to discuss measures to tackle the difficulties and obstacles they are currently facing.

The taskforce is led by Committee Chairman Tran Sy Thanh.

This is the second meeting held since the taskforce was established last August.

Businesses raised difficulties regarding land allocation for project construction and extensions for the payment of land use fees as well as other matters relating to project implementation.

The taskforce said it will seek solutions to deal with their difficulties.

Hanoi established the taskforce to help enterprises and investors address difficulties in production and business.

Its members also include Deputy Chairmen of the Hanoi People’s Committee, and representatives from the Departments of Planning and Investment, Finance, and Construction, and from the banking and taxation sectors.
