According to the Hanoi People’s Committee, the capital has ten industrial parks (IPs) on a total of 1,300 ha, of which nine are fully occupied. The remainder are in the process of perfecting technical infrastructure.
To create favorable conditions for workers at IPs, four social housing projects accommodating more than 22,400 people are now under construction. More than 8,000 workers have been provided with rental housing as a result.
Under the city’s plan, by 2030 infrastructure inside and outside of all IPs will be upgraded to boost productivity and improve environmental protection, while more social housing will be built for workers. By 2025, at least two housing projects will be completed.
