According to the Ministry of Transport (MoT), south-central Binh Thuan province will receive budget funds of about VND16.12 trillion ($697.6 million) in the 2021-2025 period to complete five projects and start two new projects, including National Highway No. 28B, and upgrade its section of the Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City railway link.

In the five development zones within Dong Nai province’s Long Thanh area plan to 2040 and vision to 2050, Zone 4 is the specific functional area of Long Thanh International Airport, which will be developed to provide a series of facilities of international standard, fully exploiting the potential of Vietnam’s international gateway.

FDI attraction in northern Vinh Phuc province for 2021 as a whole is expected to stand at more than 250 per cent of the plan and increase 50 per cent year-on-year. Its growing appeal lies largely in its preferential mechanisms and policies. It plans to expand investment partners next year, especially major investors from the US and the EU.

The State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) has become a special economic organization of the government during its 15 years of operation. With positive results seen in representing State ownership of capital in enterprises, the SCIC is ready to focus on capital investment and business activities.

The central highlands’ Dak Nong province plans to recover land or change the land use purpose for 235 socio-economic development projects to be implemented in 2022 on a total area of more than 4,380 ha, including a number of solar power and wind power projects, bauxite mines, commercial - service areas, and urban areas.

Northern Vinh Phuc province is expected to attract more than $1.1 billion worth of FDI this year, an increase of over 50 per cent compared to 2020. Foreign investment will continue to be considered key in promoting the province’s economic growth into the future.
