Vietnam exported nearly 900,000 tons of cassava and cassava products in the first two months of 2023, a year-on-year rise of 19 per cent, according to the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development (MARD).

It currently grows cassava on a total area of 528,000 ha.

The country ranks third among global cassava exporters, following Thailand and Cambodia.
