The Ministry of Planning and Investment led ministries and ministry-level agencies providing public services in the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) rankings for 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communications has announced.
It posted a score of 0.8219 points, 0.2093 higher than its 2021 ranking, the Government News reported.
It was followed by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the State Bank of Vietnam.
Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Duy Dong said the ministry has adopted many measures to boost digital transformation, focusing on building and completing institutions and creating a comprehensive legal foundation for the implementation of e-government.
It has also focused on promoting digital transformation in key areas such as public investment management, business registration, investment registration, household and cooperative registration, contractor selection, and the purchasing of public assets.
The ministry also sped up data connection and sharing with the national database.
