The Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has approved planning to build a modern and multi-sector industrial park (IP) to meet demand among industrial production establishments.
The Trung Thanh IP will cover 200 ha in the northern province’s Y Yen district and accommodate sectors with advanced and environmentally-friendly technology.
Some 21,600 people are expected to be employed at the IP.
It will be built under the development orientation for Y Yen district by 2030 with a vision to 2050.
Nam Dinh currently has nine industrial zones on a total area of over 2,000 ha.
IPs in the province attracted $220 million worth of FDI last year.
