The Prime Minister has approved a strategy for education development through 2030 with a vision to 2045 which targets to develop the education sector to meet regional standards in five years and international standards in the next 10 years.

The strategy aims to modernize Vietnam's education system, enhance the nation’s good traditions, foster the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people, and meet the requirements of socio-economic development in the new era as well as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the latest advancements in science and technology.

The education sector will focus on nurturing morality and personality, maximizing each individual's potential and creative abilities, thus creating the foundation for achieving the goal of building a prosperous, democratic, fair, and civilized nation with happiness and prosperity.
