Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a teleconference on the morning of February 17 seeking measures to develop the country’s real estate market in a healthy and sustainable manner.
The teleconference aimed at assessing the situation in the real estate market and the difficulties and challenges it faces, and proposing solutions for the development of the sector and related fields.
Last year, Prime Minister Chinh chaired three national conferences on promoting the property market, issued many directives and circulars, and set up a taskforce to tackle difficulties.
Late last month, he asked the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to review and adopt measures to deal with the difficulties relating to real estate credit for both property developers and buyers, in order to facilitate the effective development of real estate projects and restructure the property market.
