Hanoi has passed a resolution to adjust the list of land acquisition projects and plans to change the purpose of rice land in 2022. It will remove 16 land acquisition projects on an area of nearly 60 ha, while two projects will change the use of rice land, on an area of more than 1.5 ha.

Hanoi collected more than VND3 trillion ($128 million) from the auction of land use rights in the first half of the year, or nearly 25 per cent of the plan. It is now preparing to auction land use rights for 143 projects and land plots on a total area of 87 ha.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has signed and promulgated a decree on the construction, management, and use of information systems in the housing and real estate market. The Ministry of Construction will publish basic information on the market nationwide at http://www.batdongsan.xaydung.gov.vn quarterly and annually.

Under adjustments to construction planning for Tuy Hoa city and surrounding areas in south-central Phu Yen province to 2040, there will be seven subdivisions, including six urban areas and one industrial agricultural zone. The total planning area is more than 17,000 ha, of which land for urban construction is nearly 9,000 ha.

Under the general planning for Ben Cat town in southern Binh Duong province to 2040, it will be an urban center with the function of an industrial-service-traffic urban area. Its town planning is divided into six urban subdivisions with an area of more than 23,400 ha.

Northern Bac Giang province has approved the detailed construction planning for four new urban areas and residential areas on a total area of more than 220 ha. The central urban area in Bo Ha town, Yen The district, is the largest, on 136 ha and with an expected population of 9,500.
