The figure is equal to other countries in Asia (Japan 99 per cent, South Korea 100 per cent, China 73.37 per cent, Malaysia 98.13 per cent, the Philippines 93.62 per cent and Thailand 88 per cent).
At the 48th ASEAN Summit held on May 8 in Cebu, the Philippines, the Vietnamese leader also called for effective implementation of the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) for the 2026-2030 period, the ASEAN Power Grid, and the Trans-ASEAN Gas Pipeline.
