Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has signed Decision No. 964/QD-TTg approving the National Cybersecurity and Safety Strategy, proactively responding to challenges in cyberspace to 2025 and vision to 2030. The strategy initially aims for Vietnam to maintain a ranking in the range of 25th to 30th in the Cybersecurity and Safety Index, assessed by the International Telecommunications Union, by 2025.
The Vietnam Cyber Emergency Response Center launched the National Cyber Information Security Incident Coordination Platform at the Vietnam Security Summit 2022 on June 23. Cyber attacks have continued to increase, posing many challenges to the process of building digital government and developing the digital economy and digital society.
