At the September 23 forum, US businesses spoke highly of Vietnam’s economic priorities, particularly its commitment to removing institutional barriers to facilitate business operations.
At a meeting on March 9 between leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and a business delegation of the US - ASEAN Business Council (USABC), a number of leading US corporations and businesses investing and doing business in Vietnam said they have plans to expand this year. Areas of interest include logistics, technology, high-tech industry, clean energy transformation, digital transformation, and the circular economy, with a focus on sustainable development.
