Speaking at a meeting with the delegation in Hanoi on March 22, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said Vietnam wants to promote its comprehensive partnership with the US in a practical, effective, equal, and mutually-beneficial manner, and views the US one of its most important partners, adding that the government stands ready to hear from US companies and deal with any difficulties in a spirit of harmonizing benefits and sharing risks.

Ealier, during a meeting with the delegation on March 21, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung said he hopes the US will become Vietnam’s largest investor.

MPI will study proposals exchanged during the meeting and propose the government continue to improve institutions and policies, he said.

Representatives from the US corporations expressed their regard for Vietnam’s business and investment environment and shared their investment plans, which focus on the fields of digital economy, digital transformation, banking, health, logistics, and energy.
