Authorities in central Thua Thien-Hue province have issued a Resolution on master planning for two industrial parks (IPs) at the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone (EZ).

IP 02 and 03 will have a total area of 409.5 ha and employ 15,000-17,000 people.

They will develop into multi-industry IPs with priority given to the development of industries in energy, electronics, power, supporting industry, and logistics services.

IP 02, located in the west of the EZ, will accommodate high-tech and environmentally-friendly factories and plants, while IP 03, located in the east, will house factories and warehouses for logistics services at Chan May Port.

The development of the two IPs is part of the general master planning for the Chan May - Lang Co EZ, based on provincial socio-economic development orientations, according to local authorities.
