Vietjet Air and F Air from the Czech Republic signed an agreement at the Vietnam - Czech Republic Business Forum in Hanoi on April 21 regarding cooperation in building basic pilot training programs, training pilots for the carrier, and providing training for region’s aviation sector.
“The agreement with F Air is part of Vietjet’s plans to develop, expand, and train high-quality aviation human resources, especially pilot training, to meet the needs of Vietjet and the sector,” said Vietjet Air Vice President Luong The Phuc. “Vietjet has modern European-standard facilities with three flight simulators, cabin training mockups, and a wave swimming pool, etc., which help it provide training programs to pilots, cabin crews, engineers, mechanics, and aviation staff.”
The agreement between Vietjet and F Air will help Vietjet take the initiative in securing high-quality human resources to meet the development demands of the airline and the sector, expanding its cooperation with European partners after deals with partners in the US and Asia-Pacific on pilot training. Vietnam and the Czech Republic have a history of more than 70 years of cooperation, including education and training cooperation, especially aviation training.
The Vietnam - Czech Republic Business Forum was co-organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic, and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vietnam, during Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala’s visit to Vietnam from April 20-22. Also in attendance were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and leaders of ministries, branches, and businesses from the two countries.
