Authorities of northern Quang Ninh province and China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held a ceremony on June 25 to mark the official opening of Hoanh Mo - Dong Zhong Border Gate pair and the Bac Phong Sinh – Lihe crossing.

The move is expected to enhance the friendship and comprehensive cooperation  between Quang Ninh province and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, especially the bilateral trade.

It is also part of the plan to develop Hoang Mo – Dong Van border economic zone and Bac Phong Sinh border economic zone which have been approved by the Government.

Many import and export products between the two countries got customs clearance on the sidelines of the ceremony.
