During their talks in Paris on June 10, PM Pham Minh Chinh and his French counterpart Francois Bayrou affirmed their resolve to make breakthrough advancements in economic, trade and investment cooperation.

Vietnam is among the first countries to sign the treaty on the very first day it was opened for signature and among the first nations completing domestic procedures to become a party to the agreement.

Economic activities have picked up with the 90-day pause on US tariffs.

While addressing the Deltas of the World Summit in Nice, France, on June 9, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted that Vietnam considers adaptation to climate change in delta regions not only an urgent and objective requirement but also a historic mission.  

At the 2nd plenary session of the conference, PM Pham Minh Chinh speaks on half of the 11 ASEAN member States, reaffirming that ASEAN upholds the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

The forum is a special event held on the sidelines of the third UN Ocean Conference to showcase the key actors involved in developing the enabling environment that will allow investments in the millions and billions to make this blue transformation a reality.
