The National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) continued its deliberations on the draft Law on Urban Development during a session on August 17, with a key focus on the legal framework for the Vietnam International Financial Center (IFC).

The Ministry of National Defense will mandate declarations from all organizations and individuals owning UAVs, aiming for all domestic unmanned vehicles to be digitally identified, electronically licensed, and subject to real-time journey monitoring by 2030.

Under a new circular from the State Bank of Vietnam, such payments and money transfers can be conducted from September 19, 2026.

The target is set by the conclusion of the Politburo on the development of materials industry.
