Vietnamese and Chinese businesses explored cooperation opportunities at a conference held in China’s Zhejiang province on September 26 to promote trade between the two countries in the field of digital commerce.

It was organized as part of the third Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE 2024) by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade,  Zhejiang provincial Department of Commerce and Alibaba.com.

The event saw the participation of over 80 Vietnamese firms operating in many sectors, including e-commerce products, mobile information technology, chips and artificial intelligence application software, digital technology, and innovative applications.

The conference created an opportunity for domestic businesses to connect and expand their partnership with Chinese businesses as well as to get access to new technologies and advanced digital solutions in e-commerce, smart logistics, and online payments, according to Mr. Hoang Minh Chien, Deputy Director of Vietrade.
