Vinh Long withdraws land of 11 projects

The Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee has decided to withdraw land plots allocated to eleven projects with a total area of 31.83 ha, and to extend land use by two years for another project on 32.83 ha.

The decision was made based on a proposal from the Mekong Delta province’s Department of Natural Resources and Environment, which stated that the projects have failed to proceed as scheduled.

According to a report from the Department, 12 organizations have not put land totaling 64.67 ha into use for 12 consecutive months, delayed project implementation, or failed to fulfil financial commitments.

The eleven projects having their land revoked include three in Long Ho district, three in Binh Minh town, two in Vung Liem district, and one each in Mang Thit district, Tra On district, and Vinh Long city.
