Central Da Nang city has granted investment licenses and decisions approving investment policies to six domestically-invested projects and one FDI project with total investment capital of over VND9.3 trillion ($383 million).

As of November 15, the city had issued licenses and adjusted decisions approving investment policies for 40 projects with total registered capital of VND47 trillion (nearly $2 billion) and attracted FDI capital of nearly $200 million.

During a ceremony on November 25, city authorities granted licenses to the $135-million Foxlink Da Nang project belonging to Foxlink International Investment Ltd., from Taiwan (China), focusing on manufacturing high-tech electronic devices; and a project from the AMACCAO Group to build a solid, industrial, and hazardous waste treatment plant at the Khanh Son Landfill, with total investment capital of VND2.02 trillion ($83 million).

Among projects receiving licenses were four in the property sector.
