Hanoi to host the 24th International agricultural exhibition in Nov

The 24th International Agricultural Exhibition - AgroViet 2024 will be held  on November 20-23 in Hanoi.

At the press priefing on November 12, Mr. Hoang Van Du, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Agricultural Trade Promotion Center, said that AgroViet 2024 is organized to promote and expand international economic cooperation, promote brands and products, facilitate trade, and honor agricultural, forestry, fishery products, OCOP products, and local specialties across the country.

“This is an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit the domestic and export markets,” he said.

The exhibition will showcase a wide variety of agricultural products, OCOP products, and typical specialty products from both domestic and international localities. It will also display machinery, equipment for production, and products for livestock, veterinary, and fisheries.

"As of now, the Organizing Committee has received registration from nearly 100 domestic and international units, equivalent to 250 standard booths. Among them, 99 booths belong to international businesses from countries and territories like mainalnd China, Taiwan (China), Mongolia, South Korea, Australia, and Russia. Domestic booths come from 36 provinces and cities," said Mr. Du.

Within the framework of the exhibition, there will be various sideline events, including the Vietnam-Mongolia Agricultural Promotion Forum; the Vietnam-China Business Matching Conference and the Launch Ceremony of Vietnamese agricultural products on Chinese e-commerce platforms and social networks.
