Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway to be built as PPP
The Binh Phuoc Provincial People’s Committee will be the authorized agency in the construction of the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode and with a build-operate-transfer (BOT) contract. The 140-km project is a component of the Ho Chi Minh Highway and connects southern Binh Phuoc province with the central highlands’ Dak Nong province and has total investment of VND23 trillion ($982 million).

Hai Phong keen to build Nguyen Trai Bridge
Northern Hai Phong city is striving to begin construction of the 1.5-km Nguyen Trai Bridge across the Cam River this year, with investment of more than VND5.3 trillion ($226 million) from the city budget. The bridge will link Cat Bi International Airport with the northern reaches of the city, and as a special-class urban traffic work will have an influence on the city’s socio-economic development.
Construction of HCMC’s Ring Road 3 to start mid-2023
Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road No. 3 project is more than 76 km long with total investment of more than VND75 trillion ($3.21 billion), making it the biggest infrastructure project ever in Vietnam’s south. The city will focus all resources on starting the project in mid-2023, with completion after three years of construction.
Three airline operating centers for Long Thanh airport
The Ministry of Transport has approved the construction of three airline operating centers at Long Thanh International Airport in southern Dong Nai province, on a total area of more than 57,000 sq m and with total investment of over VND700 billion ($30 million).
MoT approves North-South Expressway components
